Last week we sent home notes indicating that a community partner has offered to get new shoes for every student at Wiimaajiikwad. Please complete and return these notes or contact Elissa at Wimaajiikwad with your child's name, Teacher's name and child's shoe size. Our order is due by Friday April 18th.

Please be advised that due to building maintenance circumstances beyond our control, we will need to close the school for the day. Buses will be returning students at 9 am this morning for those who rode the bus. Parents who dropped students at school will be contacted and asked to pick up students.

Reminder to Parents and Students:
We have some very cold temperatures and snowy weather predicted for the next 7 days. Please ensure that students come to school prepared for cold weather - Hats, mitts/gloves, and cold weather coats for days when we are able to go outside for recess.
We will normally stay indoors for recess if the outside temperature falls below 15 F. Miigwech to recreation staff for helping us to facilitate indoor recesses.
Lets be safe during this winter season.
