Today we kick off Mino-Bimaadiziwin Wellness Week at SCA. Today is Mindfulness Monday so SCA students will enjoy a healthy snack and are encouraged to wear yellow or their favorite "thinking cap". At Home learners can send a picture of themselves participating in wellness week to be entered into a prize drawing.

A very thoughtful message from the CMU Women's Lacrosse team! We are also thankful for a strong, meaningful SCIT & CMU partnership.

Picture Day will be on Monday, October 5th for students in Group A, and on Friday, October 9th for students in Group B. Our At Home Learners can choose to come in either day between 8:00am-12:00pm to have their picture taken as well.

Welcome to our new app! We appreciate our families and community. Don't forget to enable "push notifications!"

Boozhoo,
Miigwetch for your continued support of our Tribal School. So far the school year is off to a great start. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we transition into this new way of learning. As always, the health and safety of our students, staff and community are always our top priority. In order to keep everyone who chooses face to face learning (part of the Hybrid option) safe, we will have a cap on the number of students per class. Each classroom will not exceed 10 students per group. As of right now, there is room for students who may choose to switch from At Home Learning to our Hybrid option. As a reminder, students who choose the Hybrid option will learn in school 2 days a week (either Monday/Tuesday for Group A, or Thursday/Friday for Group B) and will learn from home the other 3 days a week. If you are interested in changing your students learning option, there is a form you will need to complete and return to SCA. Once we receive your request form, and a spot is available, we will contact you to inform you of which group your child will be in. The learning scenario choice form can be found in the Documents section of our website at https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/912168/Learning_Scenario_Choice.pdf.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the SCA office at (989)775-4453.

Joy and Noojimo paid us a visit today! They can't wait to join us and meet all of you!
