Monday, October 10, 2022: SCA is celebrating Indigenous People's Day with a round day from 1pm to 2pm at Eagle's Nest Gym.
SCA Cultural Spirit Week: Monday wear an Anishinaabe Shirt/Skirt Day, Tuesday wear something beaded or quilled, Wednesday wear one of the four sacred colors, Thursday wear something to represent your clan or a clan you like, Friday wear something with Anishinaabemowin on it.

Na Waaban SCA Ngo-dodewziwinak (Good Morning SCA Families): Staff Professional Development Day is a HALF DAY FOR STUDENTS this Wednesday, September, 21, 2022. Students will be dismissed at NOON. Anishinaabek Gizhiigad also known as Michigan Indian Day is this Friday, September 23, 2022. The Saginaw Chippewa Academy is closed on Friday (NO SCHOOL). Enjoy your long weekend and be safe. Proud of our Anishinaabe (Indigenous) ancestors, living our lifeways, and excited for our future.

Students please wear an Orange shirt on September 30, 2022 to honor Residential and Boarding School survivors.

Everyone is welcome to join our Healing Walk this Saturday. We will have Walking Tacos after the walk is done, and lots of great resources for everyone.
Bring your friends, families, children or grandparents. We will begin our walk at 10:30 am at Eagles Nest Tribal Gym where you can register for the Healing Walk and make your own poster to hold during the walk.
Mothers: Decorate your strollers or wagons and let your little ones help.
Lots of free giveaways for everyone who attends. T-shirts, bracelets, goodie bags, resources, stickers, face painting table, stations to make your own crafts, medicine pouches and more. Come and join us as we honor our loved ones we have lost, and bring HOPE, STRENGTH, And HEALING to our Entire community. We look forward to seeing everyone.
